1. Who is responsible for your data
Misdakia is operated by EURL TECH FOR STARTUPS, which is responsible for the processing of the personal data described in this policy. Its details are listed in section 13.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Misdakia platform: the public review pages, the review pages reached through invitation links and QR codes, the merchant dashboard, and the review widgets and integrations that merchants add to their own websites, including the Misdakia Reviews plugin for WordPress.
Merchants who add Misdakia widgets to their websites are responsible for those websites and for their own privacy notices.
3. Data we collect
When you leave a review as a customer:
- Your phone number, which we verify with a one-time code sent by WhatsApp or SMS
- Your first name, last name and email address, if you choose to provide them
- Your review: the star rating, your comment, and any voice note or photos you add
- The store and product you reviewed, and the date of your review
When you use Misdakia as a merchant:
- Your name, email address, phone number and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google
- Your stores and products: names, logos, images and website addresses
When you use the platform or view a Misdakia widget:
- Technical information such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser information and interaction data, used for security and fraud prevention
4. How we use your data
- To collect, verify, moderate and publish reviews
- To calculate ratings and public trust scores
- To give merchants statistics about their reviews
- To create and manage accounts and to provide support
- To detect and prevent fake reviews, fraud and abuse
- To comply with our legal obligations
5. What is shown publicly
Published reviews are public. On public review pages and in merchant widgets we show the star rating, the comment, any photos and voice note, the date, and the reviewer's first name with the initial of their last name.
Your phone number and email address are never shown in full. If you did not give a name, your review is shown with a masked version of your phone number that reveals only its first digits.
6. What merchants can see
The merchant whose product you reviewed can see your review, your name and your phone number in their Misdakia dashboard.
9. How long we keep data
We keep account data while the account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. Published reviews stay online until you delete them, they are removed by moderation, or the account is deleted. Technical data used for security is kept only as long as that purpose requires.
10. Your rights
Under Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, you have the right to be informed, and to access, correct and object to the processing of your personal data.

You can also file a complaint with the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP).
11. Security
All connections to Misdakia are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to personal data is limited to what each part of the service needs. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against loss and unauthorized access.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with the date of its last update.
